In this part 2 of Judges chapter 9, we see the curse fulfilled on Abimelech and the men of Shechem. We also look at the other Shechem record in the Bible where a man Shechem rapes Dinah, Jacob's daughter. It's not a great name for a man or a town. The men of Shechem betray Abimelech and he slays them all, burning 1000 in the tower. He himself dies by a woman dropping a mill stone on his head. You don't dishonor your father!
