SUMMARY.
In 1079 Blinded by Love, Reverend Catania shows us how King David was so blinded by his love for his son Absalom, that he made rash decisions. His son would have killed David, his wives and children and all his followers, yet David wanted the army to treat his son kindly. His blind love for his son almost lost him his life and his kingdom, but his general Abner straightened him out. Likewise, believers love their children and their grandchildren, but cannot allow that love to compromise their walk with God. We understand that the devil attacks us through the ones we love and should seek God's guidance in these situations. God loves our children too, but ultimately, each individual is responsible for their decisions.
