God bless and keep you in His loving arms. This Chapter and Verse is a memorial to the life and ministry of Reverend Charles D. Incarvite. Reverend Incarvite, "Chuck," fell asleep Sept 14, 2022 peacefully in the presence of his loving family.

I met Chuck and Dolores many years ago at a Bible class they were hosting at their home. That class was around the fall of 81'or 82'. Chuck and I were attracted to each other immediately as we were both blue collar workers. Chuck was a plumber and I was an auto mechanic.

Dolores was and is a wonderful wife and mother who took me under her wing many times and loved me unconditionally. She helped me so many times when I was a young believer.

As for Chuck, we always goofed around pushing it right to the edge many times but boys will be boys. Chuck loved God's word and he had a gift that I have seen in very few.

You never left Chuck feeling down. He was always able to pick you up and get your spirits back to happy. Our friendship was built on the Word, that's why we remained friends until the day he fell asleep.

1 Samuel 18:1-4 1And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. 2And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house. 3Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. 4And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.

This is the best way I can describe our friendship. You always knew that Chuck had your back. Chuck was my elder in many ways, but, as he served alongside of me in Chapter and Verse, he always respected and acknowledged my authority.

The same can be said of Dolores who has declared on more than one occasion "I don't listen to Nick about blah, blah, blah. I listen to Nick when he speaks the word."

Chuck was my best man when we renewed our wedding vows and Dolores was Kim's maid of honor. Chuck and Dolores dedicated out first born son who we named Daniel Charles in honor and recognition of our beloved brother Chuck.

During the early days of our time together serving in the ministry, the Incarvite's were the ones I went to when I needed healing.

You see, like any ministry you will always have people who will be grade A jerks, and our ministry was no exception. We had a relatively young inexperienced group of leaders who sometimes wrote checks with their mouth that their hearts were not willing to cash. Others did not belong in leadership positions; they were there because they loved the attention but their heart was far from the love of God. When you empower a person like this with the authority to rule God's people, bad things happen.

If it were not for the Incarvite's, I would have never been able to survive the devil's attacks. Dolores always loved me back into loving people and forgiving them. If there was trouble to get into, Chuck and I were in the thick of it.

2 Samuel 23:14-17 14And David was then in an hold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem. 15And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate! 16And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD. 17And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.

Chuck was a mighty man of God. If Chuck was alive during David's life, this verse would have his name in it. This was the kind of guy Chuck was, he'd do anything for you. We had many discussions throughout the years, some heated, but at the end of the day he always stood by me. Many times I changed the direction I was going because of Chuck's sweet fellowship.

Others came and went by the dozens, but Chuck stood faithful and remained a loyal friend and minister. I was honored to ordain Chuck to the ministry and recognize his gift as a pastor and teacher.

But he was more than that. He shuttled people around picking them up for fellowship helping them with their homes, cars, and whatever else they needed. He didn't serve from the throne; he was a workmen and got involved in people's lives. It was a safe feeling knowing I could always depend on Chuck. He worked all day and many times Saturday.

Along with Dolores, he ran a home fellowship at his house. If that wasn't enough together traveled over an hour each way on Sundays to be with the believers at our fellowship.

Chuck and Dolores had their share of hardships in their life. Like Kim and I, they also lost a child. But they kept on serving and blessing God's people. Chuck, Dolores, and their children Natalie and Julia, attended a bible college.

Chuck came to me one day in private and said, "Brother Wolf, if for some reason something happens to me, promise me you will marry Dolores and take my family to this bible college." It was a silly request but it showed just how much he loved God and wanted to be trained as a minister so he could serve God's people.

NIV Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves

NIV Philippians 2:4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

NIV Philippians 2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

These verses described Chuck. He always made you feel like you were the special one in the spotlight. Chuck was so approachable you could tell him anything. Your heart was safe with Chuck even if you just needed to blow off steam you words were safe with Chuck.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Our Heavenly Father will surly remember all of Chuck's love and service.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Any ministry would consider themselves blessed to have a man of God like Chuck serving with them. But I was the one who enjoyed his ministry and loving service. For this, I will forever be thankful. Chapter and Verse was truly blessed to have a minister like Chuck. For now our brother sleeps peacefully awaiting the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was an honor to serve alongside this wonderful man of God, Pastor Charles D. Incarvite.
