Your Importance in the Body

white throne judgment Universalism, Part 2

Go to the previous issue.

The justice of God demands the judgement of God. The word of God is the will of God and this remains a secret to most people today.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

God's word and only God's word comes from the mouth of God and as such it alone is profitable for doctrine. Doctrine is how and what to believe.

There is no such thing as what the world promotes today as truth. The only absolute truth there is comes from the scriptures and only the scriptures give you God's doctrine.

The world today teaches if it's true for you its valid.

The three most widely accepted contemporary theories of truth are:

1. The Correspondence Theory;
2. The Semantic Theory of Tarski and Davidson;
3. The Deflationary Theory of Frege and Ramsey.

However, there are two other competing theories. The Coherence Theory, and the Pragmatic Theory.

If you would like to confuse yourself be my guest and study these theories. Pilate had question Jesus about the truth.

John 18:37-38 37Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

The answer to Pilate's question is recorded in the scriptures.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

It is the word of God and only the word of God that is the truth by which all other theories beliefs and opinions must be measured against.

Those who hold to the universal theology are in opposition with the true God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Not all people will enjoy eternal life and live forever with the LORD and his Christ.

Many will be cast into the lake of fire because they refuse to believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to the father.

NIV Mark 16:15-16 15He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Very simple the one who believes will be saved the one who does not will be condemned. Nowhere in the scriptures does it say after death some will be given a chance to change their minds and accept Christ as some Universalists teach.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Again very simple if you believe on the son you have everlasting life. If you choose not to believe you shall not see life but it doesn't end there. The rest of the verse says that for the one who does not believe the wrath of God abideth on him.

ASV John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The only way to the father is by his son Jesus Christ.

ASV 1 John 5:11-12 11And the witness is this, that God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He that hath the Son hath the life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life.

Acts 4:10-12 10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Those who teach there are many roads you can choose to get to heaven are at best confused. Never put your trust in man except that man be the Lord Jesus Christ. John told us that the wrath of God would abide on the person that does not believe in his son Jesus Christ.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

ESV Romans 5:9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.

Jesus Christ not only provides for us eternal life he also saves us from the wrath of God to come.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

God's heart for all men is that they would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Romans 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Man has a choice. Man brings upon himself the lake of fire, this is not God's doing. Because of man's hardness and unrepentant heart man chooses to accumulate wrath upon himself. When man refuses to accept God's gracious offer of salvation he begins to accrue to himself wrath the punishment that all who refuse the Son of God will receive.

Furthermore the unrepentant person continues to add to his self-imposed sentence additional punishment (time he or she will spend burning in torment in the lake of fire) until they are completely consumed by the flames and destroyed.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Now understanding this do you know what people say. They accuse God of being unloving and a hater. They say things like, who wants a God like that. A God that tortures and burns people just because we do not agree with His religion.

Just who does he think he is and you call that the love of God and you say that your God is love? And if you're a believer you know what they will say about you? You're a hater to a male patriarch a white oppressor who is intolerant and spreads division and not diversity. Etc. Etc.

They rebel against God and criticize the true believers because that's what they have been taught (brained washed) to do. And you know who taught them? Our government funded schools and colleges using our tax money.

And like the government who spins everything they touch to serve their own agenda they have lied to this generation and this generation (for the most part) just accepts it as gospel.   Now he who has ears to hear let him here the truth.

John 3:17-18 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Verse 18 speaks of a preexisting condition and that is one of a condemned person already. God is not to blame man was already born dead in trespasses and sin and you can blame the devil for that. God is trying to save mankind through Jesus.

Genesis 2:16-17 16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

People got it all wrong God sent Jesus to save man God doesn't send people to "hell". He saves people from "hell".

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Everyone has a choice between everlasting life or death. What is yours?
