In 1156, Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed, part 1, Reverend Nick Catania begins a series on the birth of Jesus Christ. In this session we investigate astronomical signs and their significance in the bible. Before Adam, God already had signs in the sky pointing to the promised messiah. In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, he set the stars in their courses. There are still events yet to come that will be signaled in the heavens. There are stars in the sky and celestial events that signaled the birth of the coming king, the Messiah Jesus Christ. This is not the perversion of astronomy called astrology. All the ancients recognized 12 special constellations we call the zodiac. The ancient names and groupings had special significance that was known long before written language and was passed down through the patriarchs. We specifically looked at the constellation Leo and the king star Regulus. From the tribe of Judah would come the promised messiah.
