In 1134 The God Breathed Word, Rev Catania admonishes us to take the Bible seriously. Man's basic spiritual problem is the integrity of the word. We see that holy men did not just make up the Bible, all scripture is God Breathed. We look at the depth of John 1:1 and see the impact of the words used. God was with (pros in the accusative tense) showing him both intimate with and independent of the written word, the bible and the word in the flesh, Jesus. God went to great lengths to put his plan in action. According to Ephesians, we were also with God in the beginning. In otherwords, we existed in God's foreknowledge. See the impact of these verses. We should read the Bible as God talking to us. We need to give scripture the respect due it. We have the greatest thing God designed in our hands. The Bible is not just for reading an hour once a week. Treat it with the respect due it. .
