SUMMARY.
In 1066 Pride, Part 2, Reverend Catania shows us that pride is very dangerous to a believer's walk. King Saul and King David were both men who were loved of God and had great ability. Saul fell because he was prideful and wouldn't admit that he was wrong. David, who also made serious mistakes and even got tricked with pride, humbled himself and meekly accepted the blame for what he did. He was called the friend of God. Satan tempted Adam and Eve with pride. Satan knew the results of pride because he had experienced it. He wanted to usurp the authority delegated to Adam and Eve. There is great strength in humility and we can go far with God if we become humble.
