We investigate how the earth was not created without form and void, it became that way when Lucifer (Satan) rebelled with one third of the angels in heaven and went to war. The first heaven and earth were destroyed between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 and we get more details in Isaiah and 2 Peter. A perfect God would not create a destroyed mess. He had to put it all back together again. We are living in the second heaven and earth which will be destroyed in Revelation 21. The final or third heaven and earth will be the final one which lasts forever and there will be no more death or crying.
