In 1044, David Encouraged Himself, Rev. Nick Catania shows how David handled a crisis situation when he returned home from battle and his hometown was destroyed. In spite of his anguish and perilous situation, David encouraged himself in the Lord. He got a word of God from the priest and held on to the promise that he would recover all. He kept moving ahead in spite of all the obstacles the devil threw at him. We can learn many things from this record. God always provides, and we just keep moving forward in spite of how things look.
