#1022 Kingdom of God, part 2

SUMMARY. In the Kingdom of God part 2 we learned how Eve got tricked in the garden and how a perfect woman in a perfect world with a perfect husband could blow it. She considered the words of the serpent and he got her to walk by her senses. He tricked her. Eve lied whether or not it was intentional, she did not truthfully speak the word that was revealed to her by her husband. The devil uses the same methods to trick us today to get us off the Word, and we were born sinners. We also see how Adam's job was to protect the garden and he was there during Eve's temptation and didn't stand his ground. Many men today are feminized and live in fear of the cancel culture. We cannot live this way today.

1022 The Kingdom of God part 2

You can take your Bibles and go to Genesis chapter 3. We're going to continue to look at the Kingdom of God. We saw in part one that God was the possessor of heaven and earth. And that he is Lord of heaven and Lord of earth. We were told that the kingdom belonged to God.

1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

We learned in 1 Chronicles 29:11 says that all heaven and all the earth is his. It’s his kingdom and he is exalted above all. We learned about the word LORD (in all caps) in the Old Testament. and we saw that that was the Hebrew word "Jehovah". And the King James version uses that designation, it's in all caps to let you know and that was the Hebrew word "Jehovah".

And the King James version uses the designation, where only the "L" is capitalized to let you know it's the word "Adonai". We saw that "Adonai" means "the sovereign one". It's not a name for God, it's a title for God. "Jehovah" is a name for God. Then we learned about the word "Elohim", which is God in his created form.We also saw that God is the everlasting king of heaven and earth; and his kingdom is everlasting.

Satan is currently the God of this world. We saw that he is exercising the power and authority that God had originally intended Adam to govern in. We saw that God's original intention was for mankind to be under Adam: for him to rule the earth on behalf of God, the great and everlasting King. And then we saw that when Adam sinned, he lost that privilege and ability to rule as God had originally designated and intended.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

We learn that God did not forget about his family and in Genesis chapter 3 in verse 15 we have a promise and God says "I will put enmity between thee (talking to the serpent) and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head (talking about the devil) and thou (talking to the devil) shall bruise his (the woman's seed) his heel." And we quote this a lot, but this morning I wanted to take some time and give you the context in which this was first spoken.

Because this is still a prophecy coming to pass. And anything that God speaks will come to pass. That's why you have to remember when He says He's an everlasting God and his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom that we are simply on the road at a point in time of that kingdom. There is going to be different seasons before the kingdom completely arrives and we are able to be part of that kingdom and rule and govern in it with Jesus Christ.

(KJV) Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

•(Douay-Rheims Bible) Now the serpent was more subtle than any of the beasts of the earth which the Lord God made. And he said to the woman: Why hath God commanded you, that you should not eat of every tree of paradise?

•(YLT) And the serpent hath been subtile above every beast of the field which Jehovah God hath made, and he saith unto the woman, 'Is it true that God hath said, Ye do not eat of every tree of the garden?'

•(ESV) Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?"

•(NIV) Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?"

In Genesis chapter 3 beginning in verse one it says, "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he (the serpent) said to the woman, yea hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden."

The Douay version reads like this, "Now the serpent was more subtle than any of the beast which Lord God had made. And he said on the woman, why hath God commanded

you that you should not eat of every tree of paradise?"

Young's Literal Translation gives the verse like this, "…subtile above every beast which Jehovah God had made, and he saith unto the woman, 'Is it true that God hath said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?'"

The English Standard says "…Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden'…" and then one more. The NIV says, "…did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"

So, he went and he approached the woman. He questioned the woman and tried to lead the woman with his questions.

It was not a simple question of yes or no. He's trying to lead her. He's trying to fish her. He's throwing a hook out, and he wants to see if she's going to bite.

Genesis 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

"The woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:" and that was her first mistake. And that's every person, including women's first mistake. The first mistake is when someone considers the words or the thoughts of the devil. That's their first mistake.

Eve knew what God's Word said. She had been told; and yet she starting to consider the words of the devil. And words are powerful because in the beginning God spoke creation into existence. He said, let there be light. He spoke it into being. Those same words that are spoken on lips of believing can also be the words spoken on lips of cursing that will destroy. Those same words that will introduce light.

It's the same technique that the devil uses he counterfeits it. He just takes and flips it and he uses it to introduce darkness. And it's all done by words. Because words become thoughts, and eventually thoughts will become actions. See? So the first mistake she made was to consider the words of the devil.

Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Verse three she goes on, "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest ye die." So the woman now is going on to prove what her point is. She's going on, "neither shall you touch it, lest ye die." So the woman now is going on to prove what her point is. She's going on and by the time we get done… It was right; but you see the woman here? She said you shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it lest you die."

Genesis 2:16-17 16And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

The word of God in Genesis 2 verse 16 says that they could "freely eat". In verse 17 it says you "shall not eat thereof, for in the day that thou eat you shall surely die." You shall surely die. So, what Eve is repeating back to the devil as what God told her, is not true. Okay? There is nothing in the Bible that says about touching it. God didn't say anything about touching it. Eve said about touching it. Then Eve took, "Ye shall surely die." And brought it down to "lest you die".

She changed the word. She changed it from "surely" to "lest ye die". She lightened the impact. That's what people do today. they do things and they lighten it. Now just this week… You know you get these blips through these news channels; And I don't care what news channel it is. Very few of them are good. Very few, and they are getting less. Okay, but the blip came across. I gave it to my son. He looked at it and he told me what it meant. And with the good Disney had done, the blip was Disney removes all whatever reference to "him and hers" in their communication with people in the park. So instead of saying "ladies and gentlemen" they'll say "people of the park", or something like that.

Okay? Now that's not all references. that's just that; but this is what that is. That's just starting, okay? Like Eve said, "Lest ye die." That's just starting and trust me, Disney will go the way of the world, and they will turn around and succumb to the evil that their executives promote. Now, but it happens little by little. And this is what you have to understand.

Eve started to talk to the devil. And when Eve spoke back to the devil. She didn't speak back "It is written"; she spoke back a little bit of "it is written". See? She changed a word, and she added a word. And when you change a word and when you add a word, you no longer have God's Word.

God's Word us quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it can divide asunder between soul and spirit. It's the Word that produces signs, miracles and wonders; and it's the Word of God.

Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

She said, but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden (verse three), God hath said, you see that she's quoting the word. She's saying 'thus saith the Lord'; this is what "God hath said, you shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die." Did God say you should not touch it? And did God say lest she die? So what is Eve doing? She's misrepresenting the Word of God.

Well, I don't know if she's intentionally lying, but she is lying. But she's misrepresenting what God had said. That is not God's heart. That is not God's Word, but she saying this is what God said. God said in Genesis 2:16, "You can freely eat"; in verse 17 , he says "But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it …or touch it?… does it say that? No. Thou shalt not eat of it. "For in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die." That's different than "lest ye die", right?

Eve added a word. she said you shouldn't touch it. Then she changed the Word. She's changed it from "thou shall surely die" to "Lest you die." Lest ye die. In the Douay version again of Genesis 3:3, this is Eve's response, "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of paradise, God had commanded us that we should not eat; and that we should not touch it, lest perhaps we die." See the "lest perhaps" we die.

The word "lest" ("Lest we die," that Eve used), it's translated "per adventure" in other places in the Old Testament it’s translated like haphazard, "per adventure", take a shot, or take a chance. It doesn't represent the gravity and the seriousness of what what God told Adam. "Lest you die", doesn't represent the truth of what God told Adam. It belittles it.

And anytime man or woman gets a hold of God's Word and walks outside of God's Word, they always belittle the Word. They always change the impact of the Word. The word "lest" means "otherwise" or "perhaps". Perhaps. You know what perhaps means. Perhaps introduces "maybe". It is not "you shall surely die". It now introduces a what? a maybe.

And that's how it happens: it's a little by little by little changing. That's why you have to stay put on the Word of God. Because, if you don't stay put on the Word of God, little by little by little, changes come; and before you know it, you've got homosexuals standing behind a pulpit preaching. And in our churches today, that's what you have. That did not happen over night. That happened little by little by little by little.

Okay, the Hebrew of Genesis 2:17 where he says "thou shall surely die". The Hebrew literally reads, "dying, thou shalt die." It's the word "muth". The word "perhaps" or "lest" ye die is used four other times throughout the King James, and another variation of it is used, but it's "maybe" or "perhaps".

The word dying you shall die (muth) is used 800 some times throughout the King James. - 835 according to Strong's; and 424 of those times it's translated "die". Not lest, not maybe, not perhaps… it's translated die. 130 it's translated "dead, slay, death, surely kill, dead men, dead body." See? It means "dead": it means dead! But she took what God said and what God meant and she belittled it. And she gave it back to the devil.

Now the devil knows God; he knows God's Word. And he knows that he has to back down from God's Word. You’ve read and you’ve heard me talk about "resist the devil and he shall flee." So that's what they talked about earlier. But that's only half true, because the verse before that says "humble yourself under the mighty hand of God," Then it says, "Resist the devil and he shall flee."

See, if you resist in your own power; you're the one that's going to flee. You humble yourself first. When you're humble, then you're able to resist. That's the great truth; because the Bible says when you're weak, then you are strong. It's backwards from the world's standards.

Genesis 3:4-5 4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

In verse 4, the serpent said unto the woman, "Ye shall not surely die. There it is. Now he didn't come out in the beginning and say "God's a liar. He lied to you; you're not going to die. He didn't do that. You know what he did? He engaged her in a conversation. He got her off the Word. He's got her responding now with words that are not what God said. Then he's drawing her closer and closer. Then finally he turns around, and he offers her another way of thinking about life. And his offer is "You are not really going to die."

(NIV)Genesis 3:4 "You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman.< /br> < /br> (YLT) And the serpent saith unto the woman, 'Dying, ye do not die,

That's what he said. The NIV says "you will not surely die." Young's Literal says dying ye do not die. Dr. Young. "Dying you do not die." That was a great lie. You don't really die. Dying you do not die. You might go here, you might go there. You have an existence somewhere but you don't really die. So now, he's got the woman thinking.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil … and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

John 8:44 says that the devil is a liar and he's the father of it. This is what he is doing. He's lying to the woman. And you know what? What he's saying to the woman is starting to make sense. The woman is beginning to believe his lie. and do you know why the woman is beginning to believe his lie? Because the woman at this point is beginning to walk by her senses, by her emotions, and by her feelings instead of by the Word of God.

Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

In verse 5, the devil is explaining to the woman why God is lying to her and he's explaining to the woman God's actual motives and woman is listening.

Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

In verse six, it says, "And when the woman SAW." Seeing is in the category of the senses. That's why I told you she was deceived because she started to walk by her senses instead of by the written or the revealed Word of God. The revealed Word of God was what her husband told her.

She considered the words of the devil. Then she started to look at and she saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes a tree to be desired to make one wise. She started to listen and she said, "you know what? He's right. Look how wonderful that looks! This is something that I need. This is something I desire! This is something that's going to enhance me, it's going to make me better; give me more. Something that God didn't give me; something that God held back from me."

Isn't it amazing that you can talk yourself into something that is so wrong. That is so wrong! And yet it can be so right in your mind And you know how that happens? It happens when you listen to the voice of the devil, and you walk by your senses. This woman was in perfect fellowship, in a perfect garden, in a perfect world, with a perfect marriage and a perfect husband and a perfect God and she blew it.

And we wonder. We live in an imperfect world, have imperfect spouses, have imperfect fellowship, How are we going to have a chance? Through Jesus Christ. That's the only way.

Well, when the woman saw. She saw. She looked at it. She considered it, then you know what she did? She convinced herself. She convinced herself with the words the devil was speaking into her ear that she was lied to; that God lied to her and that the devil was right. It was good. It was pleasant: it was a tree to be desired so she could be wise. She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.

What happened? Eve saw and she made the decision based on her senses and not based on the Word of God. She listened to the lies of the devil, and she considered his words, and she engaged in the senses conversation with him. And by that time she was already lost lost and defeated. He drew her in; he fished her in. Can you see it?

Now this is what he used to trip up the first woman. Now, I’ve got a secret for you. He still uses the same tactics and techniques today. What's your apple? Same thing. You know what you do? You keep God’s Word; you don't change it. Eve embellished God's Word. She added a word: she said, "touch it". She deleted a word. She said, "thou shalt not surely die"; and then she changed a word. She said, "lest you die".

Now, up unto this point -- and listen to me before you speak out at me, women -- it's all the woman's fault. She walked by her senses and she entertained the words that came from the thoughts of the serpent. However, there's more to verse six than meets the eye. Verse six says "she took the fruit thereof, and did eat of it and also gave to her husband with her, and he did eat." But that doesn't really represent the great truth and impact of the verse.

(ESV) Genesis 3:6b …she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

•(NASB) …she also gave some to her husband with her…

•(NIV) …She also gave some to her husband, who was with her…

•(New Jerusalem) …She gave some also to her husband who was with her…

•(NLT) …Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her…

•(RSV) …and she also gave some to her husband, who was with her…

Do you see it? Her husband was with her. Do you know what happened? This is what happened while all this was going on. You know who was with her? Her husband. You know whose fault it was? His fault. That's exactly right. It wasn't the woman's fault. I'm going to show it to you later. Did she screw up? Yes, but he was placed in the garden. And he was placed in the garden to tend it, to care for it.

The word "care" means "to guard" that word in Hebrew is also translated "watchtower". Do you know what a watchtower was in the Old Testament? It was the lookout for what enemies. The enemies. See? It was Adam who was negligent in his responsibility to protect his wife and to guard his wife from evil; that allowed the devil to get as far as he did with Eve.

Because God made man and God made woman; and God gave specific orders to a man and he gave specific orders to a woman. And when the woman will follow what God says; and when a man will follow what God says they got a chance at it. But they got zero to little chance if they do what they want. And Adam's job was to protect his wife. and he didn't do it? How didn't he do it? He didn't speak up.

What was he doing? What was Adam doing when the devil was talking to his wife? Did you ever watch these TV shows like "remodel my house"? Did you ever notice that the guy never says nothing? It’s the woman who's doing all the talking. That's what Adam was doing: standing there doing nothing.

See? When you take a man and introduce a feminine quality into that man, and then turn around and say it's okay; what you're doing is destroying God's plan of protection for the world. Why? Men are supposed to be men. Men are supposed to guard. Men are supposed to hunt. Men are supposed to protect. Do you understand? That's what men do. Biblical men do that. Someone prayed for men today that they be men.

The world is trying to feminize men You know why? Because when you feminize a man, a man won't speak up. A man won't guard. A man won't protect. That's right. Men need to be men. That's it. It's that simple. And if you're married, you need to be a man. You need to be the head of your house because God made you the head.

And God told the wife to submit to the head. And if you're a wife and you don't like that, then you tell God, don't tell me.

It doesn't say to lord over her. I am the head of my house. Trust me, I don't have to tell my wife I'm the head of my house. I don't have to tell you that I am the head of my house. But I will tell you this. My wife has everything she wants and she gets things she doesn't want. Do you know why? Because as the head I love her and I don't abuse her. I don't lord over her.

I listen to her when I'm wrong. I change when I'm wrong, but I'm the head and there's never been an argument on that point. She has everything she wants and she never once said to me "I'm going to be the head." Never once because she enjoys being taking care of. She enjoys being provided for. She enjoys being protected because that's the way God made it.

That doesn't mean that you can’t have a career. It doesn't mean this. It doesn't mean the other. It just means that you've got to get together and you've got to work it out in your family. You cannot run your family the way I run my family. That will be wrong. You can't compare me; you can't compare our relationship. That would be wrong. You have to make it and figure it out for yourself.

But the man has to be the head; and if you're going to argue with him and you're going to fight with him all the way along; all you're going to do is bring trouble to your household. And you will not have God's blessing the way you could have it on your marriage, because you're breaking his Word. Okay?

When Israel broke God's Word, did they have his blessing? No. They broke his Word so bad that they went into captivity. You see? A genuine head loves and respects and serves his queen. Right? That's what a genuine head does. A genuine head loves and respects and serves his queen.

That's what a genuine head does. he does everything in his power to provide for her, to make her feel secure. That's what a head does. Adam didn't do that. I'll tell you right now, if I ever heard of a guy talking to my wife like that, or a snake, he'd be in the frying pan. That stuff doesn’t happen. I'll just get right in your face. "Don't be talking to her. You want to say something, say it to me!"

See, and that's what Adam should have said. but he didn't. And I'm not going to speculate, but I'm going to tell you this: he sinned. He sinned! He broke the responsibility that God gave him. He did not take his responsibility personally. He didn't take it seriously.

Genesis 3:7-9 7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. 9And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

In verse 7, "they heard the voice of God, the LORD God walking in the garden." They heard the voice of the LORD.That’s Jehovah, Elohim walking in the garden and they hid and the LORD (Jehovah) God (Elohim) called unto the… woman? No he didn't! No he didn't. Who did he call? Adam. He doesn’t talk to Eve until verse 13.

Why did he call Adam? Because Adam was supposed to be the head. That's who he called. Do you understand? That's who he called, because that's who he held accountable. He said "Where are you at?" Did you really think that God didn't know where he did and that God didn't know where he was? Right?

Do you really think that God wasn't watching when this was going on? But he gave Adam free will. He gave Eve free will too. Do you really not think that God is God's watching you in your house when stuff id going on between you two? Do you really think that? He knows but he's given you free will too.

Genesis 3:12-15 12And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

In verse 12, Adam blames Eve: "the man said, The woman that you gave me to be with me, she gave me of the tree…" See what he did? He pawned it off on her. He said "she's the one. She gave it to me." And God said, "What have you done?" and the woman said, "the serpent beguiled me." And that's true. He beguiled her; he tricked her. He got her to think by her senses. He got her to walk by her senses, and she got tricked. She got tricked and that's where Genesis 3:15 comes in a few verses away.

(NLT) Genesis 3:15 And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.

I really enjoy the New Living Translation of Genesis 3:15. It says, from now on you and the woman will be enemies and your offspring and her offspring will be enemies. He was going to crush your head, (referring to Jesus Christ) and you're going to strike at his heel, (referring to us and to the Lord Jesus Christ ). And the adversary's been striking at our heel ever since.

1 Timothy 2:13-14 13For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

In 1 Timothy 2:13 we see that Adam came before Eve. In verse 14, Adam was not deceived. Do See it? "But the woman being deceived was in the transgression." Do you know that means? That means that Eve got tricked because she was emotional and she's got hormones; because she walked by her senses. Say whatever you want. She got tricked, but it says that Adam was not deceived.

Adam knew what God had said. Adam understood what God had said, but Adam chose to knowingly disobey. He was tempted to walk by his senses and he gave in. That's what happened. Adam disobeyed.

Genesis 2:15 said, "The Lord took the man he put them in the garden to dress and to keep it. To keep it! Remember, I said that word "keep" means "to guard"? "To guard" means "to watch"; it means "beware".

Like I told you, it's translated "watchmen" and in other places the word "keep" means "observe to keep yourself from". Observe to keep yourself from…

The government is becoming a world religion of the United States. The government of the United States has different categories; has different denominations of their world religion. Some of the government of the United States has a denomination that is completely left and communist. Some of it comes a little bit closer to the center and so forth and so on. And then you got over here you've got this denomination.

Even the great denomination, as people would say Fox News, puts a homosexual transgender on their show now. Bruce Jenner, who's a male, he's now an anchor for something on Fox News that supposed to be a conservative news channel. You see, that's just a little bit. But there's evil in Fox News, there's been evil in Fox News for years. It's just getting worse. It's getting worse.

But the government has different denominations like the church. The church has different denominations: Pentecostal, Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran, so on and so forth. Government is the same way. The government is at odds with God. Okay? And they have several different denominations. Some really push real hard. The ones that push real hard push God right out of it, and the ones are just starting to push, they're just starting to get God out of it.

But the government is setting itself up as a religion, as a God. And if you don't see this you will get yourself in trouble. And I may not be explaining it to you the right way, but I just ask God to make sure that my point gets across in your heart. The government is putting itself up as a religion. As once they set themselves up as a religion, then they're going to set themselves up; as to tell you what to do as what is right and what is wrong. And they been doing this for years.

God's Word says homosexuality is wrong. The government says no. And what's going to happen is a clash. It's called the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. Okay? And that's what the government's doing. In the freest country in the world, the United States, this is running rampant. And the reason why it's running rampant - one of the reasons - is because man are not men.

Men do not speak up. Men do not teach the Word of God. Men are afraid that they're going to get censored, that they're going to get thrown down. They're going to do whatever; okay? And basically, that's fear. And God had not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. See?

And men would sooner sit down, keep their mouths shut and let their wives do all the talking than to rise up and be men. How many men are at school board meetings with their children? How many men are in churches. See? Do you know that the numbers in churches are mostly women? Why is that? It shouldn't be. Men should be leaders. Men should be shakers. Men should be there for God.

We sang a song this morning "Where the war is, I'll go. We'll pick up the gun." See? Men should be doing that. That's what men used to do, But men have become feminine. Men have become weak. And that's why men don't act like men anymore. It wasn't Eve's fault. It wasn't Eve's fault. It was Adam's fault. Why? Because Adam let her go there. Adam kept his mouth shut when he should have spoke up. It was Adam's fault.

2 Corinthians 11:33 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Is the serpent still beguiling people? Yes. And he is still using the same techniques. When you get that thought or when you hear that word in your mind; you know what? Don't walk by your senses. Because if you think that you're big enough to figure it out and beat the devil, you're already beat. But I would remind you. Eve was created with a perfectly renewed mind: no sin. You were not. You've got the sin of Adam, and so do I. Okay?

And the devil came, took her off the Word and kicked her butt, right? You don't think he's going do it to you? Walk by the spirit. If you got any consternation going on inside you about what I said; if you got anything that you disagree with about what the Word says. I'm going to tell you why you have that.

You have that because the world has put in your mind what a woman's supposed to be; and you bought that lie. And now, when someone speaks the truth and tells you what the Bible says a woman supposed to be and what a man supposed to be; you need to figure out "Am I going to believe what the world says? Am I going to default to what I've always been? Or am I going to change and do what the Word says?

See? That's the only reason why you've got any kind of squawking going on inside you. Because the world has trained you to be a certain way. But who is the god of this world? So where you want your instruction? Which god do you want your instruction to come from? Let us pray.
