In part one of Servant, Friend, and Family we looked at the eight administrations in the Word of God and how they determine the way that God deals with mankind. It is important to know who a passage of scripture is addressed to in the Word of God to correctly interpret a passage of scripture. In part two, we look how, in the beginning, the best relationship that a person could attain with God was a servant - Lord relationship. In the patriarchal and law administration, that was the closest relationship a believer could hope for. There were a couple of individuals who were elevated to the status of "Friend of God". In the Gospel Administration Christ laid down his life for his friends. Now, in the Church administration, we have the special blessing of being sons of God by birth, by incorruptible seed. In this teaching we examine why that is such a big deal and a tremendous privilege.
